GeoPrisma is a web mapping application featuring access control of geospatial data in combination with user permissions. It acts as a proxy in front of web services, such as WMS, WFS, TMS, etc. It also dynamically generates a web user interface based on the rights that the current logged user has over the data. The application is built with OpenLayers, GeoExt and ExtJS.
The product is available under a BSD open source license and comes from the united efforts of several companies from Quebec, including Mapgears. The first official release came out on december 1st, 2011 and it is still evolving with new features and bug fixes. As of today, GeoPrisma is used in several projects all around the world.
